Privacy policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026
Short version: we ask for your email so we can tell you when Drop 001 is live. We don't sell it, we don't share it, and you can leave any time. The longer version is below, in plain language.
Who we are
Santo Society ("we", "us") is an independent streetwear label based on the Costa Blanca, Spain. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions? Email hola@santosociety.com.
What we collect
- Your email address. Only when you choose to join the list.
- The date you signed up. So we know who's been waiting longest.
- Your IP address. Stored briefly to prevent spam and abuse of the form, and to keep voting fair.
If you vote on a slogan, we store the vote and a one-time record to stop double-voting. A vote is anonymous. It isn't linked to your email.
Why we use it (legal basis)
We process your email on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the sign-up form. We use it for one purpose: to send you launch and early-access news about Santo Society. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure for the short-term storage of IP addresses.
Who can see it
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (our hosting and database provider) and, when we send launch emails, processed by our email delivery provider. These providers act on our instructions only. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data with anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the brand stops operating. IP addresses tied to the form and voting are kept only as long as needed to prevent abuse, then removed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your data, withdraw consent, or object to its use, at any time, for free. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can always reach us at hola@santosociety.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Cookies
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The site stores one small value in your browser (localStorage) to remember that you've voted, so the form stays consistent. Nothing about that leaves your device.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes that affect how we use your email will be communicated to you directly.
